ActiTrainer Research Model
The ActiGraph ActiTrainer activity monitor provides heart rate information in addition to activity measurements such as activity counts and vector magnitude, energy expenditure, steps taken, activity intensity levels, and subject position. When worn with the Polar T31 chest strap and transmitter, heart rate information is wirelessly transmitted to the device and appears alongside activity data. The ActiTrainer also features an OLED display window for real time activity and heart rate monitoring and an ambient light sensor to provide information on subject environment. The ActiTrainer has 4MB of non-volatile memory, and its rechargeable battery is capable of providing power for 7 days with the display enabled or 10 days with it disabled.
GT3X+ Activity Monitor
About the GT3X+ Tri-Axis Actigraphy Monitor
The new ActiGraph GT3X+ activity monitor provides physical activity measurements such as activity counts and vector magnitude, energy expenditure, steps taken, activity intensity levels, MET’s and more. An integrated ambient light sensor supplies valuable information on the subject environment. Unlike previous ActiGraph devices, the GT3X+ collects data in raw format at a user specified sample rate up to 100 Hertz. Filtering and epoch selection are performed after data is collected, allowing users to process datasets multiple times at different epoch selections even after a study has ended. The GT3X+ has an inclinometer to determine subject position and identify periods when the device has been removed, and it can be worn during periods of sleep to measure the amount and quality of sleep. The water resistant GT3X+ can withstand submersion at depths to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The GT3X+ can store over 40 days of raw data*, and its rechargeable battery is capable of providing power for 30 days between charges.
